Deryk Walcott is a founding member and partner at Walcott & Hartin, LLC. As the Principal Licensed Professional Fiduciary, Deryk has worked extensively in many aspects of California Probate Law. His focuses are in Trust and Estate administration, assisting in elder abuse litigation, working with public benefits for special needs clients and financial management. Mr. Walcott has experience as a Durable Power of Attorney for both Finance and Healthcare, as a Trustee, as a Conservator of the Estate and as an Administrator of the Estate. He has worked on cases ranging from thousands of dollars to upwards of $50 million.

 In his career, Deryk has personally administered or worked on hundreds of Trusts, Estates and Conservatorships. Deryk works closely with his clients to assure that trust and respect are at the core of each relationship and that there is always an open line of communication. With his background and experience, Deryk ensures that all his clients’ needs are met in the most responsible and prudent manner possible.



Lori Hartin is a founding member and partner at Walcott & Hartin, LLC. As a Licensed Fiduciary and Chief Financial Officer for our office, Lori brings over 20 years’ experience in public administration and fiscal operations. Lori graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Business & Financial Management from Eastern Gateway College. Most recently, she has served in the specific capacity of financial operations for over 100 trusts, estates, conservatorships, and power-of-attorney clients.  Previously, Lori has assisted with the launch of several local and national non-profit organizations; authored numerous publications; worked as an emotional health counselor; and served with public health nursing for 10 years. She has a background in elementary education, the agricultural field, and ordained ministry. Additionally, she served as a patient ambassador with a pharmaceutical company and spent several years speaking and lending peer support at events and programs in a highly regulated industry. In addition to corporate financial duties, Lori is a California Licensed Professional Fiduciary and National Certified Guardian, providing  case management, care management, and other personal support to our clients. Lori is also a member of the Sacramento Estate Planning Council and the Professional Fiduciary Association of California. Lori’s passion is story. Because no two persons are alike, Lori spends time learning the stories behind our clients, striving to connect in a way that best serves the individual client and confirms they’ve made the right choice to work with Walcott & Hartin, LLC.

Ryan Andersen is a California Licensed Professional Fiduciary at Walcott & Hartin, LLC.  Additionally, he is a National Certified Guardian. Although he serves in all roles under the licensed fiduciary umbrella, Ryan is uniquely skilled in the administration of Special Needs Trusts and Conservatorships. Ryan holds an Associate of Arts in Paralegal Studies and has worked in the Fiduciary industry for over 6 years. He has a deep knowledge of Probate Law and is passionate about continually developing that expertise. During his time as a Licensed Fiduciary, Ryan personally worked on over 200 case assignments, serving each client with skill and compassion.
